The engine is paired with a TH400 automatic transmission featuring a reverse-pattern manual valve body and Hughes 10-inch 3000 stall converter. Power is transferred through a Ford 9-inch rear axle equipped with 3.90:1 gears and a limited-slip differential.The foundation of this build is a Street Rod Garage chassis featuring tubular front suspension, a triangulated 4-link rear suspension, QA1 coilovers, Flaming River rack-and-pinion steering, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. The detailed undercarriage reflects the same level of craftsmanship found throughout the vehicle.
