This 1962 Porsche 356B T6 Cabriolet was built by Reutter and is No.
254 of 798 produced from August 1961 to July 1962. Finished in the
original exterior color of Ruby Red with a Cashmere interior.
Matching engine and transmission confirmed by Porsche Production
Specifications. Factory equipment included ventilated chrome wheels
and Dunlop tires. This 356B Cabriolet delivers a light and nimble
driving experience that continues to define the 356 model.
The paintwork is in beautiful condition with excellent gaps and
panel fit. The exterior trim, brightwork, rubber seals, and the
soft top are in excellent condition. In 2021, the interior was
upholstered by K&H European Auto Upholstery, including front
seats with leather faces, rear seats, dash, and door panels trimmed
in Cashmere leatherette. German charcoal square-weave carpets were
installed, along with a new black canvas soft top, pad, headliner,
and boot cover. Ventilated painted wheels with Super hubcaps are
mounted to Michelin XZX 165 R15 tires. The undercarriage is fully
detailed to show condition and is solid and rust-free.
European Collectibles acquired the 356 from the prior owner in 2021
and sold it to a repeat client who has enjoyed it during the
summers in Park City, Utah, over the past five years. The past
owner recently traded this 356B Cabriolet in to purchase a 356SC
Cabriolet.
Mechanically powered by its matching 1600cc flat-four engine paired
to the matching 4-speed manual transmission (Type 741) with
four-wheel drum brakes. Complete with Porsche Production
Specifications, owner's manual, and spare tire. This Cabriolet
represents one of the most enjoyable configurations for 356
open-air motoring, with the improved drivability, comfort, and
refinement of the T6 body. An excellent opportunity to acquire a
well-maintained 356B Cabriolet, presented in a desirable color
combination and with a matching driveline.
