1993 marked the final year for the truly pure Miata in my opinion.
Up to 1993 these cars were built with a naturally aspirated high
revving, light 1.6 liter which was the essence and the heartbeat of
the Miata. After that they went to a heavier 1.8 liter and from
there it got even heavier. These Miata were the brain child of a
Motor Trend writer by the name of Bob Hall who would go on to visit
the plant in Japan and give his idea of what the US market needed
and wanted. This particular car has been driven and enjoyed but
with these bullet proof little cars there is a ton of life left!
The car appears to be all original and unmolested as speaks the
carfax. The paint has some fading, swirls and chips as to be
expected of a car of this year with the mileage, however the
interior is in very good condition with everything in good working
order including cold A/C. All the lights and guages work as they
should. The car starts, runs and goes down the road nicely with no
known issues. Please let us know if you have any questions or would
like to schedule an inspection here in our Traverse City
