Vehicle Description

This 1967 Pontiac GTO hardtop coupe was repainted in red under prior ownership and is powered by a 400ci V8 that is topped with a Rochester Quadrajet carburetor and linked to a three-speed automatic transmission and 10-bolt rear end. Equipment includes power-assisted brakes, power steering, 14″ Rally II wheels with chrome trim rings, and air conditioning. Inside, the front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in black vinyl and accompanied by a center console, a dual-gate shifter, and an AM radio. The seller purchased the car in 2022, and service under current ownership has included servicing the air conditioning and replacing the brake master cylinder, front wheel cylinders and hoses, lower control arms, mufflers, and tailpipes. This GTO hardtop is now offered with PHS Automotive Services documents, service records, and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory finished in turquoise and was repainted red circa 2010, according to the seller. Features include a hood scoop, stacked headlights, black pinstripes, and chrome rocker moldings and wheel arch moldings.

The 14″ Rally II wheels feature chrome trim rings and are mounted with 205/75 Coker Classic redline tires. The car is equipped with power steering and a stabilizer bar, and braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel drum brakes. The front wheel bearings, wheel cylinders, brake drums, and hoses were replaced in 2024 along with the front sway bar and lower control arms.

The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl, and interior appointments include a full-length center console, a dual-gate shifter, an AM radio, air conditioning, and a locking glovebox.

The three-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and a fuel-level gauge as well as warning lights for the battery, oil pressure, and temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 91k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 400ci V8 is topped with a Rochester Quadrajet carburetor was factory rated at 360 horsepower and 438 lb-ft of torque.

 

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear end. The tailpipes were replaced in 2023, and the mufflers were replaced in 2024.
