This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was purchased by its most recent owners in 1966 with only 2,000 miles on the odometer. Still wearing its original silver paint over an original black vinyl interior, 60,000 miles were added over the next 21 years before being placed into storage, until our acquisition in June of this year. Utterly original from front to back, this Corvette retains its numbers-matching 300 horsepower 327 V8 mated to an automatic transmission, and has not seen a lick of paint or bodywork in its 61 years. Always stored with its soft-top raised in a dry garage, the quality of this Corvette’s preservation is truly remarkable, right down to its original wood rim steering wheel having been protected by a leather wrap from the 70s onwards. Featuring power brakes, power steering, air conditioning, power windows, and a color matched hardtop.
