1957 Ford Black Thunderbird Americana Car History. I have had the car for about 25+ years. It comes with documents including the purchase agreement from an owner in Oregon. This 1957 lovely Thunderbird Black with the black interior has both tops; the convertible top and the Porthole hardtop. The engine is equipped with the desirable D code option which offered a 312 cubic inch V8 engine with the 4-barrel carb which had become the Thunderbird's standard engine, and produced approximately 245 horsepower in 1957. Fordomatic automatic transmission, power steering and brakes.
The dash does need a little bit of work, the radio turns on but cannot get stations.
The exterior paint is in very good condition, nicely done and is very deep and shiny looking. The Thunderbird hood scoop, mirror and antennae, rear bumper with integrated exhaust outlets, and they are all great, plus it also comes with both the Thunderbirds famous porthole hardtop and convertible top.
A mechanic that works on older cars has gone through the entire engine.
