This 2003 Ford F250 XLT Lariat Crew Cab Short Box truck is a super
nice, really clean truck that spent its life in the Pacific NW.
This truck has a lot going for it: it has the 7.3L Powerstroke
Turbo Diesel engine, it is a crew cab short box, and it is a clean
Pacific NW truck. This truck has been well cared for by the same
owner for the last 16 years. He purchased the truck with 35,000
miles on it and it now has 139k. He maintained the truck
religiously. The body is clean and straight and the Toreador Red
paint is mostly original. The hood was painted because it was
replaced with a cowl hood, and the roof was painted because of some
clear-coat issues. It has an aluminum headache rack and tool box in
the bed and a cool HD front bumper with a 12,000 pound winch (it
works) with integrated brush guard. It also has aluminum side
steps. The underside of this truck is super clean and you can still
see the original primer on the floors.
This is the Lariat trim so it is loaded. The interior is still
really nice wit leather seats in great condition. The original
carpet, headliner, door panels, dash, and dash bezel are all in
great condition. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn
signals are all working. The gauges all work. It has working power
windows and power locks. The power mirrors work. The power seats
work. This truck has tilt wheel and working cruise control. This
truck did come with heated seats from the factory but it needs new
heating elements installed. The horn, factory stereo, windshield
wipers, heat, and AC are all working.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives awesome
especially for a lifted truck. The engine is the legendary 7.3L
PowerStroke turbo diesel engine that runs strong with no issues or
red flags that we found. It has an S&B Cold Air Intake, full
turbo back 4 Inch exhaust, and an Edge Evolution Tuner. This truck
was never abused. Recent work in the last year includes new glow
plugs, new valve cover gaskets, new starter, new alternator, new
batteries, new waterpump and thermostat, and Serpentine Belt. The
transmission is the 4R100 that was rebuilt and upgraded around
10,000 miles ago and it has a Magtech deep aluminum pan. It shifts
better than when new. It is mated to the Borg warner electronic
shift transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. It has the
Ford 10.5 rear axle with upgraded from 3.73 gears to 4.56 to handle
the bigger tires (original gears come with truck). The front axle
is a Dana 50 with upgraded from 3.73 gears to 4.56 to handle the
bigger tires (original gears come with truck). The gear ratio is
perfect for the larger tires. In the last year new balljoints were
installed. It has a 6 Inch pro-comp lift which included new springs
in the front. This is all sitting on some nice aftermarket chrome
wheels with 37 Inch Falken Wildpeak MT tires.
