--Flamenco Red over Tan Leather, 4.0 Liter 6 cylinder engine, 4 speed automatic transmission, 56,000 miles from new, fastidiously collector owned and cared for. The XJS debuted in 1975, succeeding the famous E-Type, it was a completely new design language for Jaguar.  Initially launched only in Coupe form with a V12, the updated Series II XJS for the early 1980s featured a new 3.6 liter straight 6-cylinder and a convertible variant.  The third and final series of the XJS debuted in 1991 with updates including a new 4.0 Liter straight 6-cylinder engine, revised rear brakes and more aerodynamic front and rear bumpers.  Both elegant and sporty, the XJS represents a significant piece of Jaguar history with over 115,000 cars manufactured, by far the biggest production success for Jaguar up to that point.  This XJS coupe was sold new in Aneheim, CA in October 1995, then was sold to Boise, Idaho then onto Virginia Beach,VA and most recently a Long Island NY Based collector enthusiast for over past ten years has sparingly used and enjoyed this XJS and always serviced where and when needed.
