INTRODUCTION: 1st place AACA Grand National winner 2025! AACA
Junior 2002 and Senior 2004 winners, CLC Senior award in 2003, and
four AACA Preservation awards in 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2025. Only
43,415 actual miles, it obviously has been pampered and is an
absolutely beautiful car that drives like a dream!
EXTERIOR: Remarkable is the word I would use to describe this
Cadillac's exterior! Not only because of its beauty, but because of
its quality and preservation. The long, elegant body panels are
absolutely straight with no rust or damage. Still wearing its
factory Corinthian Blue, the metallic paint is simply gorgeous. The
chrome and trim are exceptionally nice throughout and sparkle
brilliantly against the blue paint. The glass is crystal clear, and
even the original weatherstrips remain soft. Adding even more
elegance is the white vinyl top, which perfectly complements the
blue exterior. The factory wheel covers are in mint condition and
are wrapped with a set of reproduction dual white stripe tires that
show hardly any miles.
INTERIOR: One of this Cadillac's greatest assets is the optional
leather interior in white! It is incredibly inviting, and the
contrasting blue accents take it to another level. The original
leather has been exceptionally well preserved and soft and bright.
Both the front and rear seats feature folding center armrests,
adding to the luxury and comfort Cadillac was famous for. The white
door panels are in remarkably excellent condition and the headliner
is equally impressive. The dash area is simply mint. Nothing is
cracked, broken, faded, or even noticeably worn. All of the trim,
chrome accents, bezels, and controls are in outstanding condition.
Blue carpet covers the floor and is complemented by the optional
Cadillac floor mats. This Cadillac is also very well equipped,
featuring the optional AM/FM stereo with Signal Seek, a six-way
power seat, power door locks, tilt and telescopic steering wheel,
and a rear window defogger in addition to the standard
features.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Even the engine compartment presents at a show
quality level. This was the era when Cadillac's big engines still
made big power, and the legendary 472 cubic inch V8 delivers an
impressive 375 horsepower and a massive 525 lb-ft of torque.
Despite those numbers, it runs with incredible smoothness and
refinement like a Rolex watch. Every component is clean and proper.
Equipped with air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes,
along with a vintage siren as part of the alarm system. It still
retains a lot of its factory finishes such as the original raw
fiberglass heater box and the cadmium plated hood hinges. The
windshield squirters remain hooked up and functional, vacuum lines,
wires and hoses are properly run. It's a beautiful engine
compartment to look at and admire.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and in the jamb you'll find
beautiful Corinthian Blue paint that presents just as nicely as the
exterior. The weatherstrip remains soft, and inside is the original
style trunk liner in excellent condition. It's complete with the
full jack and spare assembly and also features the optional rubber
trunk mat.
UNDERSIDE: Underneath this award winning 1970 Cadillac is a
testament to just how well preserved the car really is. The floors
appear to be original, rust-free metal and still retain the factory
Cadillac sound deadening undercoating. Everything has been neatly
freshened with a careful dusting of black paint, giving it a clean,
well maintained appearance without taking away from its
authenticity. The suspension, bushings, brake hoses, and related
components all appear to be in proper order. The brakes function as
they should, the emergency brake is hooked up, and the car delivers
the smooth, effortless ride Cadillac was famous for. The factory
correct exhaust system remains in excellent condition and
contributes to the car's quiet, refined driving experience. Looking
up at the drivetrain, the engine is very fresh and clean. The
numbers matching Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission is still in place,
sending power back through a highway friendly cruising gear rear
end. Overall, the underside reflects a car that has been carefully
preserved, properly serviced, and maintained to a very high
standard throughout its life.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every
vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected,
test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for
sale.
CONCLUSION: Some cars are just exceptional. A 1970 Cadillac wasn't
on my radar, but this one completely stole my heart! The stunning
color combination, remarkable preservation, and undeniable pedigree
make it a standout example that captures everything Cadillac
represents.
