This 1973 Porsche 911T coupe is powered by a twin-plug 3.0-liter
flat-six engine rebuilt by JB Racing of Tavares, Florida, in 2023
and paired with a 915 five-speed manual transaxle. The transaxle
was rebuilt in 2014 with Euro-style third, fourth and fifth gears
and is equipped with a Wavetrac limited-slip differential. Engine
features include twin PMO 46 carburetors, dual MSD 6AL digital
ignition boxes, a JB Racing RSR-style distributor and Carrillo
connecting rods installed in 2017. The exhaust system incorporates
tubular headers and a dual-outlet sports muffler. Suspension
consists of a 935-style front setup with a Tarett Engineering
through-hull sway bar, Bilstein RSR-specification coilovers, a rear
Tarett sway bar, Bilstein shocks and Sway-A-Way spring plates.
Braking is provided by 930-specification front calipers over
cross-drilled rotors and 996-specification rear calipers over
slotted rotors with stainless-steel brake lines. The car rides on
16-inch BBS wheels mounted with 245/45 front and 275/45 rear
Hoosier slicks. Finished in purple, the RSR-style bodywork includes
fiberglass front and rear bumpers, fiberglass rear fender flares, a
short-hood conversion, whale-tail rear spoiler, polycarbonate side
and rear windows, front splitter, tow strap, yellow-lens
headlights, cowl-mounted shut-off switches and a rear tow hook. The
race-prepared cockpit features a full roll cage with removable door
bars, OMP RS-PT racing seats trimmed in black fabric with
multi-point harnesses, a custom dash, aluminum passenger door
panel, diamond-plate dead pedal and driver-side floor panel.
Additional equipment includes a fire suppression system, CoolShirt
system, WEVO shifter, Speedcom intercom system, AutoMeter
10,000-rpm tachometer, oil pressure, oil temperature, VDO hour
meter, ATL fuel cell and strut tower brace. Accompanied by SVRA and
HSR documentation, and service records. Runtime shown is 650 hours.
