The 1951 Dodge Meadowbrook was one of Dodge's most popular post-war
automobiles and was built during a time when America was getting
back on the road after World War II. This Dodge's dependable 230
cubic-inch Flathead Six engine is paired to the famous Fluid Drive
transmission, with a 3 on the tree console shifter. What makes this
Meadowbrook special today is its 36,000 original miles, largely
original condition, and the fact that very few of these cars have
survived without being heavily modified or restored.

Rare Survivor - Original 36k Miles!
The original owner had the car from 1951-1971. The second owner
bought it in 1971. The registration from the original owner is
taped on the steering column and pictured. We attest the mileage is
original! The paint is 5/6 out of 10 looks good feet away but up
close you can see lots of imperfections. The last paint job was in
1967. The interior is 100% original. There were seat covers on the
interior, we took off the driver front seat cover and pictured it
so you can see the quality of the original drivers seat. The cars,
runs, moves, and drives very well and transmission shifts smoothly.
The tires have less that 1k miles on them and cost $900.
The Dodge came with the original owner's manuals wrapped in
plastic, two sets of keys, and the newpaper from advertising from
it's era also wrapped in plastic and all in ziplock bags. It is a
time capsule and a true survior original Dodge Meadowbrook!
This 1951 Dodge Meadowbrook comes equipped with the Flathead Six
engine, Fluid Drive 3 On the Tree transmission, factory style
interior, chrome trim package, wide whitewall tires, full wheel
covers, and shows just 36k original miles. A great cruiser for
local car shows, parades, or anyone looking for an affordable piece
of American automotive history.
