1997 FORD F-250 HD EXTENDED CAB
This 9th generation F-250 truck was the last year for the OBS body style. Truck is rust free, having spent most of its life in Oregon. When I bought it 3 years ago it came to New York. Truck has since been stored in a heated garage and has not been driven in the winter since I've owned it. The truck has had many updates. The most significant was the engine being transformed from a stock 351 to a custom 408 Stroker, pushing 350 HP and 490 ft lbs of torque, with a Holley Sniper 2 Electronic Self-Tuning Fuel Injection system, Holly Sniper Hyper Spark distributor, ignition box and coil, and a new Power Master chrome alternator. When the engine was done the following was also completed. New JBA Epoxy coated chrome headers. New epoxy painted custom 3" dual exhaust system with Magna Flow mufflers. New Champion aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. New starter. New stainless steel transmission cooling lines. It also had the 4 speed Automatic transmission rebuild. The shocks have been replaced with Bilstein 4600seris. Also lifted the front end 2" with a Sky Jacker Add-A-Lift leave spring to level the trucks stance. For towing, I added 5,000 lb. load leveling air bags in the rear (individually controlled w/compressor, side to side) Installed a new Tie Rod/Drag link steering kit and steering damper to improve steering. The interior was also updated to a custom leather interior with front heated seats (also had new foam seat cushions installed) Installed new Black Wood trim kit to dash and door panels. Custom Console for all the light and compressor switches. All interior and exterior lights have been converted to LEDs. Had custom brackets made for the side steps. Truck bed has a tonneau cover and body color Rhino spray in liner. The OBS body style with new engine and tranny make this a very desirable, unique and special truck.
