This 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is powered by a rebuilt
4.2-liter 2F OHV inline six-cylinder engine paired with a
four-speed manual transmission and a part-time dual-range
four-wheel-drive transfer case. The engine is equipped with an RV
camshaft, high-compression pistons, resurfaced intake and exhaust
manifolds, an aluminum radiator and a stainless-steel exhaust
system. Engine and exhaust work were performed by BTB Products. The
restoration included the addition of aftermarket air conditioning.
The drivetrain is equipped with Warn automatic-locking front hubs,
and the hubcaps were modified to accommodate them. The exterior is
equipped with a Rough Country 9,500-pound winch. The interior
features power windows, a Bluetooth stereo with display and a
rearview camera.
