For Sale: 2004 Aston Martin Vanquish in SAINT GEORGE, Utah

Vehicle Description

The Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, which was designed by Ian Callum and unveiled at the ‘2001 Geneva Motor Show’, was produced from 2001 to 2007 as the flagship of the marque. A concept car known as ‘Project Vantage’ was the first Aston Martin design wholly designed by Callum, and was built to display the company’s vision for a future sports car that could represent Aston Martin’s aspirations after the discontinuation of the Virage-based Vantage. The concept car evolved directly into the ‘Vanquish V12’, which features a carbon fiber and alloy structure, Aston Martin’s most powerful V12 engine, and a host of new technologies. The 2004 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish is a flagship grand tourer that cemented its legendary status as James Bond’s car in the major motion picture ‘Die Another Day’, enhancing its iconic status. The Vanquish is a luxury sports car designed for high performance and elegance, and its design combines classic Aston Martin aesthetics w/ modern engineering. The model became an icon of the automotive world soon after being introduced, and has endured across three generations and into the present day.

‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very excited to offer you this absolutely gorgeous 2004 Aston Martin Vanquish V12, a ‘mint-condition’ example w/ only 7,445 original miles! It is also an extremely rare example w/ the ‘Sports Dynamic Pack’ (SDP). Only 94 cars were produced with the SDP configuration, and production lasted only a few months in 2004. The ‘Sports Dynamic Pack’ (SDP) was a short-lived but historically important upgrade package. It was essentially a factory-developed performance enhancement designed to sharpen the driving dynamics of the original Vanquish before the Vanquish S arrived later that same year. When the first V12 Vanquish (2001–2004) launched, it was positioned as Aston Martin’s flagship grand tourer, luxurious, powerful, and dramatic, but still very much a GT rather than a hardcore sports car. However, feedback from journalists and enthusiastic owners suggested the car could be more responsive in steering, more agile in corners, and better controlled at high speeds. To answer this, Aston Martin developed the ‘Sports Dynamic Pack’. The upgrade focused on chassis, steering, brakes, and un-sprung weight rather than engine power. Suspension & chassis upgrades included shorter springs lowering ride height by 5mm, revised dampers for better body control, and stronger front suspension uprights and wheel assemblies. Other improvements include shorter steering arms, front discs enlarged to 378 mm (from 355 mm), six-piston brake calipers replacing four-piston units, as well as thicker rear discs. The best way to identify the Sport Dynamic Pack variant from the standard car are the lightweight 9-spoke alloy wheels (30% lighter than the 12 spoke), the brake discs w/ an elliptical-groove pattern, and the lower stance from the revised suspension. The Sports Dynamic Pack Vanquish V12 is prized because it represents a bridge between the original Vanquish and the Vanquish S. Many collectors even consider it the purest driving version of the original Vanquish, because it keeps the original 460 hp engine but adds sharper handling. The car we are offering you today is one of the rare 94 examples w/ the ‘Sports Dynamic Pack’.

It is blatantly obvious when you see this car in person that it has been meticulously cared for since new. The individual owners over the years have all been collectors, hence the super-low mileage, and the car has always been kept indoors in climate-controlled facilities and has never seen rain in its life. Finished in Titanium Silver Metallic, the paint is in outstanding condition throughout w/ a brilliant shine. There are no scratches, dings or blemishes whatsoever, even along the front of the car where you normally find chips of some sort. She rolls on the original lightweight 9-spoke alloy wheels, wrapped w/ Falken Ziex ZE950 ultra high-performance all-season tires (275/40/R19 on the rear & 255/40/R19 up front). You can walk around this car a hundred times and it looks perfect from every angle.

Open the driver’s door, and you will find a premium leather bucket-seat interior featuring an Alcantara headliner, brushed aluminum center console, drilled alloy pedals, and a 6-way power seat on the driver side. Other interior features include: white-faced analog gauges w/ a large central speedometer flanked by a tachometer and a combined fuel/water temperature gauge, bridge-style center console ending in a prominent red start-button & analog dashboard clock, Linn premium 13-speaker audio system, automatic climate control, heated front seats, and rain-sensing wipers. The interior is very elegant, extremely comfortable, and is configured as a traditional two-seater w/ an optional ‘2+2’ rear seat.

Now, let’s get to the heart of this amazing machine, shall we?

Pop-open the bonnet and you will find the original 5.9-liter naturally-aspirated V12 motor (DOHC, 48-valve), which produces 460 horsepower & 400 ft./lbs. of torque. This powerplant is good for a zero to 60 time of roughly 4.5 seconds, as well as a top speed of 190 mph! The motor is linked to an F1-style 6-speed automated manual transmission (electro-hydraulic operation w/ paddle shifters), which feeds power to the limited-slip differential out back. The powerful V12 engine delivers impressive speed/acceleration, and offers advanced technology, including a sophisticated suspension system for superior handling. This car is a blast to drive and will demand a ton of attention anywhere you go.

The new owner will receive the original owner’s manual & manual supplements in the original black binder, and the original umbrella (mounted in the trunk), along w/ the free & clear title and spotless CARFAX report.

A 2004 Aston Martin Vanquish V12 w/ the ‘Sport Dynamic Pack’ is an extremely rare find, making it a sought-after collector’s item among car enthusiasts worldwide. Add to that the super-low miles and overall ‘mint’ condition of this car, and you would be very hard pressed to find a finer example than the vehicle you are looking at right now!
