Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this pristine, low-mileage 1992
Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet. This 964 is a three-owner,
five-speed manual example with only 27,000 original miles. The
current owner purchased this car from his brother-in-law nearly 20
years ago. Finished in Grand Prix White over Marine Blue partial
leather interior with a dark blue convertible top. Options include
full power left and right seats, P03 Technic package, XD4 wheel
caps with Porsche crest, and cruise control.
Paint and interior remain in excellent original condition with very
little wear (paint meters as original on every panel except for the
hood, which was repainted under prior ownership due to a few rock
chips; color and finish match are perfect). New Continental Extreme
Contact tires were just installed on factory 16-inch wheels. The
power convertible top works properly and the original canvas roof
remains in good condition. This 964 is completely stock with the
exception of a high-end A/D/S and Alpine stereo that was installed
in period. Cold A/C.
Garage kept and driven sparingly under current ownership, this car
has been serviced regularly by Porsche of Louisville (formerly Blue
Grass Motorsport) with records. This car is so original that it
still had its factory-installed Freudenberg dual-mass flywheel
(which was only fitted in the early 964s and had a nearly 100
percent failure rate); in preparation for the sale, we installed a
new flywheel, clutch and rear main seal. Recent hood and hatch
struts and drive belts.
We are impressed with how smooth and tight this 911 is, owing to
the low mileage. The 3.6 runs well and pulls strong. Books, tools,
air pump, records, clean CarFax, spare and wheel lock keys are
included. If you are looking for a low mileage, manual cab in a
great color combination with a fresh engine-out service, this car
should be on your short list. For more information about this 1992
