1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396 #'s MATCHING, FRAME OFF RESTORED, 2
BUILD SHEETS, FACTORY A/C! This is one of the most sought after
muscle cars! This 1970 Chevelle is wearing its original color,
Cortez Silver with black stripes running down the Cowl Induction
hood and trunk! The body is clean and straight. All lines and gaps
fit nicely. It appears to have all factory sheet metal. The doors
close like they were new. The paint has a nice smooth and glossy
finish. The front grill, emblem, headlight bezels and front bumper
look great. The stainless trim is polished and straight. The rear
bumper, SS pad and tail light lenses are very nice. The glass is
tinted and in good condition. The door jambs are painted and
glossy. All the weather stripping is like new. It sits on a set of
14x7 factory style SS wheels with a set of Goodyear Polyglas
FR/70/14 radial tires for that original look it deserves. The black
bench seat interior really pops up against the silver exterior and
it is in excellent shape! In front of the bench seat it has its
original Muncie 4 speed shifter sticking out of the floor with
correct retainer and boot. It features an optional tach & gauge
package and a factory SS 3 spoke Sure Grip steering wheel. The A/C
and heater controls all operate smoothly. It has a factory AM radio

are all in nice shape as well. It also features GM front and rear
seat belts. The engine compartment is clean and complete! It has
its number matching L34 CTX 396ci/350hp engine that has been
completely rebuilt and runs strong! It also has factory chrome
valve covers, Cowl Induction air cleaner, 4 core radiator, correct
fan shroud and fan, factory A/C that blows cold. Everything is nice
and correct. The trunk is super clean. It appears to be all
original metal. The trunk pan has been resprayed in its original
color of spatter paint. It also has a spare tire, jack assembly and
trunk mat. The undercarriage is as clean as the top side! The
bottom of the engine is clean and the Muncie M20 4 speed manual
transmission is clean as well. The original floors have been
painted in a satin black. There is a F-41 suspension which includes
sway bars, boxed in control arms and front disc brakes. It has a
dual exhaust system with factory style cowbell tips running out the
back, new fuel tank with new straps and sending unit, 12-bolt posi
rear end with 3:31 gears. The E-brake assembly looks good and
working. The 1970 Chevelle SS is the most popular and most sought
