This 1965 Ford Mustang convertible is powered by a date-correct
260ci V-8 engine paired with a three-speed C4 automatic
transmission. The rebuilt engine features a C4 3015E block casting
with an April 1964 date code, a correct OE intake manifold, a
restored Autolite 2100 two-barrel carburetor, factory air cleaner,
Pertronix ignition, restored three-row radiator, flex fan, shroud
and a new 750-CCA battery. A dual aluminized GT H-pipe exhaust is
fitted. Chassis upgrades include Borgeson variable-ratio power
steering, added lower chassis supports, rebuilt rear leaf springs
and four Monroe shocks. GT front disc brakes and rebuilt rear drum
brakes provide stopping power. Finished in Rangoon Red, this
convertible rides on 14x6 steel wheels with red center caps, chrome
lug nuts and 195/75R14 narrow-band whitewall radial tires. The
red-and-white pony interior includes full-bolster bucket seats, a
center console, four red safety belts, working gauges, red carpet
with matching Mustang floor mats, a white power soft-top with red
boot and stainless trim. Documentation includes the original door
data tag, owner's manual and supporting records. This June
1964-built Mustang convertible received a professional
refurbishment. 30,975 miles (title reads exempt).
