The Suburban featured Station Wagon style on a truck chassis ...
and the Factory 3-Door is a sought-after model smog collectors &
builds alike. This 1968 Chevrolet "Sub-Urban" is a restored &
Custom built Show-Cruiser. The paint is "made to look old" ... it's
not REAR Patina, but a custom paint effect to look old. The Body is
actual straight & solid and features the original polished body
trim & chrome bumpers. Fitted with a set of 24in U.S. Mag Gambler
Gray-Center w/ a Polished Lip modernized the look. ??
Under the Steel Raised Cowl Hood is a 5.7L 350ci V8. The engine bay
has enough room to house a big block, but the 350 V8 is a perfect
motor for cruising (without having to worry about the motor
over-heating in traffic). Under the Chrome air cleaner is a Summit
Racing M2008 4BBL Carb on-top on an aluminum Edelbrock Intake
Manifold with Polished Finned Valve Covers & Long-Tube Headers. The
exhaust exits out the side before the rear wheels & has a good
sound to it, but is not over the top with a droning loud sound.
Other Key features is the Power Steering, Front Powered Disc
Brakes, an Aluminum Radiator & the TH350 3-Speed Automatic
Transmission. ??The Suspension is not "fully" stock, but modified
for the Slammed style.
With the push of a button, the truck will drop toward the ground &
rest just above the top of the tires. Fitted with a Double-Bag
4-Corner Air-Ride Suspension from Ride-Tech Technologies (also
known as Air Lift, Today), Zero issues or leaks with the system and
is fitted with a 10-Gallon air tank in the rear. The Ride is like
driving a "Land-Yacht", just glides or floats on the road. ??
This Interior is a mix between classic & modern. Updated with
modern tech & features to make the ride a little more comfortable.
When Chevrolet designed these 3-Doors Suburbans, they were made to
seat 9-Passenger's. The Front has custom Black Vinyl & Suede Seats
with a Custom Built Center Console & SONY Digital Monitor. The
Interior is NOT Equipped with AC, but does have Heat & Defrost!
