1972 Buick Riviera Gran Sport, 455 V8 engine paired with a Turbo
Hydro-400 automatic transmission. Nutmeg brown paint and that
iconic boat tail rear end with one piece formed rear window. The
interior features a saddle color scheme with bucket seats, center
console shifter, power windows, and aftermarket gauges below the
dash. The exterior paint has a good shine with only minor
imperfections. Nicely painted engine and engine bay, primarily
stock appearing. The chrome bumpers, grills, and wheel well
moldings have a nice shine to them. Riding on polished 5 spoke
Torque Thrust style wheels and white letter BFG tires. The air
conditioning system has been converted from R12 to 134A
refrigerant, but it only intermittently blows cold blow cold. The
fuel gauge is inop and the aftermarket radio display does not
always light. Recent maintenance includes a carburetor rebuild,
fresh fluids, new brakes in the rear as well as a new master
cylinder, and a new battery. Comes with extra parts including the
stock steering wheel and radio, as well as a water pump, weather
strip seals, belts, paint, and distributor cap. On the road, plenty
of big block buick power, excellent power steering, expected
handling, working aftermarket gauges from summit, and the classic
styling of that dash and rear "boat tail" design offer a one of a
kind experience.
