The fourth generation of the Corvette was technically between the
years if 1983 and 1996, however there were no 1983 models sold for
a variety of manufacturing problem reason, however there were 43
pre-production pilot cars built with all but one being demolished
which in to this day sits in the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green.
So beginning in 1984 with a all new chassis, body and engine
options. The C4 was imediately poised for success. Although engine
output was low in the beginning due to fuel management systems in
its infancy, by the end of the C4's power was back up. This 1984
Corvette has traveled just over 24,000 miles in 43 years.... It is
originally a black car that had the gold two-tone paint added at
some point. It shows really well for the age of the cart, the
interior is really nice, the electronic read-out is in good shape,
the engine bay and underside is very tidy as well. This car starts
right up, idles nicely and goes down the road like it should. We
