The Shelby 427 Cobra blazed its way to automotive immortality with
an unmatched combination of handsome looks, brute power, and sheer
driving fun. This CSX4000-series Shelby 427 Cobra carries on that
tradition. Finished in Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White stripes,
its detailing includes black quick jacks, a polished stainless roll
hoop, 15-inch Shelby stainless steel spinners, white sidepipes, and
a spun aluminum side mirror.
The 427 FE side-oiler V8 delivers the big-block thrust the Shelby
Cobra is famous for, and the engine compartment is as finely
detailed as the exterior. Highlights include an underhood aluminum
panel dress-up kit, and an engine dress-up package featuring
pent-roof valve covers, chrome fuel filter, Canton road racing oil
pan, period catch can, and remote oil filter and bracket. The 427
is teamed with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission.
The cockpit is optimized for spirited driving, with four-point
Simpson shoulder harnesses for both driver and passenger, and a
roll hoop bracket mount for the driver's shoulder harness. The car
is equipped with a leather interior, quick-release wood steering
wheel, leather shift boot, and fire extinguisher and fire
suppression system. The dropped floors and footbox make CSX4128 an
ideal choice for tall drivers.
Additional desirable features include Wilwood racing brakes, a
42-gallon fuel tank, and aluminum panel trunk kit.
CSX4128 has CA SB-100 Smog Exempt registration, has 32,434 miles,
and is available for $189,950.
