1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 454 LS6, 450 HP, CONVERTIBLE, FUNCTIONAL
COWL INDUCTION This is one of the most sought after muscle cars!
This 1970 Chevelle SS Convertible is awesome in Cranberry Red with
White SS stripes running down the functional Cowl Induction hood
and trunk! The body is clean and straight. All lines and gaps fit
nicely. Looking down both sides it is laser straight. It appears to
have all factory sheet metal. Doors close like they did when they
were new. The paint has a nice smooth and glossy finish. The front
grill, emblem, headlight bezels and front bumper look great. The
stainless trim is polished and straight. The rear bumper, SS pad
and tail light lenses are very nice. The glass is nice. It sits on
a set of 14x7 factory SS wheels and Firestone Wide Oval raised
white letter tires for that original look it deserves. The White
interior really pops against the Cranberry Red exterior. It sports
bucket seats and a console with a Muncie shifter sticking out of
it. It features a three spoke Sure Grip SS steering wheel on a tilt
steering column. The dash is in great condition featuring factory
tach and gauges which all work; it also has aftermarket gauges
mounted neatly under the dash. The heater controls all operate
smoothly. It has a factory AM/FM radio. The dash pad is in good
shape with no cracks. The carpet, sill plates and door panels are
all in nice shape as well. It also features a power white
convertible top, GM front and rear seat belts. The engine
compartment is clean and complete with a date coded 1970 CRV 454
ci/450 hp, 4 Bolt Main engine that has been completely rebuilt and
runs strong! It also has a dual feed Holley carburetor with correct
fuel line, Chevrolet chrome valve covers, Cowl Induction air
cleaner, a 4 core radiator, correct fan shroud and fan, correct
tower clamps, GM hoses and spring type battery cables. Everything
is nice and tidy. The trunk is super clean. It appears to be all
original metal. The trunk pan has been resprayed in its original
color of spatter paint. It also has a spare tire and jack assembly.
The undercarriage is as clean as the top side! The bottom of the
engine is clean and the Muncie M22 4 speed transmission is clean as
well. The original floors are clean metal and finished in a gloss
black. There is a F-41 suspension which includes sway bars and
boxed in control arms. Other features include power steering and
power front disc brakes. It has a 2.5" dual exhaust system with a
set of Flowmaster mufflers and factory style cowbell tips running
out the back. It has a newer fuel tank with new straps and sending
unit. All new stainless fuel lines and brake lines. It also
features a 12-bolt Posi rear end with 3:31gears. The 1970 Chevelle
SS is the most popular and most sought after car of its era! It
would be a nice investment piece for someone who also wants a 1970
Chevelle Convertible with that WOW factor, THIS IS IT! *Please
