few minor imperfections. The exterior presents well, with
brightwork and rubber components contributing to a clean and
well-preserved overall appearance. The interior is well-preserved,
retaining its original steering wheel, VDO instrumentation,
Champagne upholstery, and a Kenwood AM/FM Bluetooth radio. A new
black canvas boot cover has been custom-made and fitted. The Fuch
alloy 16 x 7- and 16 x 8-inch wheels have been refinished and are
mounted with Michelin Pilot Exalto tires: 205 55 ZR16 front and 225
50 ZR16 rear. The undercarriage is all original, solid, and
rust-free.
European Collectibles performed a significant mechanical service,
including balancing the flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate;
performing an engine-out service; disassembling the engine to
repair broken cylinder head studs; replacing the fuel hoses; and
reassembling the motor with new gaskets. Additional work included
replacing the rear brake calipers, rotors, and pads, servicing the
air-conditioning system, and completing a California smog
inspection.
Powered by a 3.2-liter Carrera air-cooled flat-six engine producing
217 horsepower, paired with a manual 5-speed G50 hydraulic
transmission and four-wheel disc brakes. This Carrera 3.2 Cabriolet
delivers the robust performance and unmistakable character that
define the G-series 911s. Complete with its original window
sticker, toolkit, air compressor, spare wheel, owner's manual,
warranty, and maintenance booklet, two keys, and 30 years of
service history, this Guards Red Carrera Cabriolet represents a
compelling opportunity to acquire a well-optioned, long-term
ownership in its original color combination.
