1987 BMW 325is Coupe ? M52 Swap / 5-Speed / Alpine White Clean,
tastefully modified 1987 BMW 325is E30 coupe finished in Alpine
White over Pacific Blue leather. This car features a 2.8L M52B28
inline-six swap sourced from a 1998 BMW 328i, paired with a 5-speed
manual transmission and limited-slip differential. The build was
completed with many desirable upgrades including a Dinan cold air
intake, headers, Magnaflow catalytic converter, Stromung resonator,
replacement clutch, Z3 shifter, and Z3 steering rack. The exterior
was repainted in its factory Alpine White and upgraded with
later-model plastic bumpers, iS-style side skirts, BMP Design rear
valance, Euro ?smiley? headlights, Euro taillights, yellow fog
lenses, shadowline trim, and 16? AC Schnitzer wheels. Suspension
and braking upgrades include H&R lowering springs, KYB shocks,
front strut brace, rear shock tower reinforcements, drilled/slotted
brakes, E90 brake booster, and stainless brake lines. Inside, the
sport seats have been reupholstered in leather, and the car
features an M-Tech I steering wheel, Continental Bluetooth head
unit, Euro-style analog clock, power sunroof, and functional
heat/blower system. Recent work included extensive engine, fuel,
cooling, suspension, brake, clutch, and driveline service, with
receipts, build records, spare parts, and a build book included.
This is a well-sorted, enthusiast-built E30 with the classic look
of an original 325is and the added performance of a modern BMW
inline-six swap. A great driver-quality example for someone looking
for a clean, modified E30 coupe with documentation. Disclosure:
107k miles shown; total mileage unknown. Georgia title carries a
Not Actual Mileage/TMU brand. Air conditioning components were
removed, ABS was removed during the engine swap, and central
locking is currently inoperative. Carfax reportedly shows no
accident or damage history.
