EXTERIOR: This Blazer has the look everyone is after! It was
completely disassembled and repainted, and the results speak for
themselves. The body is straight from the rockers to the roof, with
panels that fit nicely throughout. A cowl hood was added to give it
a more aggressive look, while the gray metallic paint was applied
evenly and polished to a beautiful glossy finish. The chrome and
trim present very well overall. Up front, a custom grille, heavy
duty bumper guard, and off road lights give it a rugged appearance.
The windshield has been replaced, while the original side and rear
glass has been retained and professionally tinted. Aluminum step
plates make climbing into this lifted Blazer much easier, and it's
sitting on a brand new set of polished aluminum wheels wrapped in
new Mickey Thompson Baja tires. The combination gives it the
perfect stance and completes the classic lifted Blazer look.
INTERIOR: The blue interior provides a great contrast to the gray
exterior, and it's been nicely freshened throughout. The carpet has
been replaced, the seats have been reupholstered in factory style
fabric, and the door panels and dash pad have been replaced as
well. It's been upgraded with a full set of modern gauges,
electronic climate controls, and a retro style stereo, blending
classic looks with modern convenience. A custom steering wheel
mounted on a tilt column adds to the driving experience. Looking
overhead, the headliner has been replaced, completing a clean,
comfortable interior that's ready to be enjoyed.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine compartment is a major highlight of
this Blazer. At its heart is a brand-new GM LS3 crate engine, not a
used takeout motor but a new crate motor complete with
documentation. Rated at 430 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque, the
all aluminum , 6.2 liter with 6 bolt mains delivers modern
reliability, fuel injection, impressive power, and excellent
drivability. The entire engine bay was restored with the front clip
removed from the truck, allowing for a thorough and detailed
installation. It's equipped with a serpentine belt system, modern
air conditioning, modern power steering, a custom cold air intake,
and power brakes. An upgraded aluminum radiator with dual electric
fans keeps temperatures under control, while a new wiper motor adds
to the list of fresh components.
TRUNK: The rear cargo area is clean, functional, and ready to use.
Roll down the power rear window, reach in, and the tailgate opens
properly just like it should. The inside of the tailgate is neatly
painted, and the cargo floor is covered with fresh carpeting. With
its large, open layout, there's plenty of room for luggage, gear,
groceries, or whatever adventure comes next.
UNDERSIDE: This Blazer shows clean original metal and has been
seriously upgraded. It rides on a 6-inch Rough Country lift with
springs, shocks, and blocks, giving it a tough stance. The fuel
system has been upgraded for the fuel injected motor. There's a new
dual exhaust with stainless MagnaFlow mufflers. The brakes have
been serviced and have front disc, rear drums, and a working
e-brake. Looking up, you'll see the new all aluminum motor with a
high torque starter, backed by a rebuilt 4L60E overdrive automatic
transmission and 3.73 gears out back.
