INTRODUCTION: This Camaro checks all the boxes! It's beautiful,
classy, fast, and sounds absolutely wicked. The colors in and out,
and list of features ought to have you sold on it. If you need a
bit more, the sound of the exhaust will seal the deal!
EXTERIOR: Wow, is this car slick! The body is laser straight, the
panels fit beautifully, and the overall stance is outstanding. It's
dressed with front and rear spoilers, a steel cowl hood, and a
striking two-tone paint scheme that's guaranteed to turn heads. The
cobalt blue and black are separated by a sharp lime green stripe,
and the entire finish has been wet sanded and polished to a glass
like shine. Adding to its appeal is the Rally Sport package,
featuring hideaway headlights and the distinctive relocated reverse
lights. The chrome and trim are straight and shiny, the windshield
has been replaced, and the remaining glass has been tinted. It's
rolling on 18-inch Foose wheels wrapped in Nitto performance tires,
with extra wide rubber in the rear for an aggressive stance.
Overall, the body and paint present exceptionally well, with only a
few minor flaws that don't detract from its appeal.
INTERIOR: I have to admit, a big part of the reason I bought this
car was the white houndstooth interior! The seats have been
recushioned and upholstered, and they're mounted on seat extenders
so taller drivers can enjoy driving as well. The door panels and
armrests have been replaced, and if you notice there are no window
cranks because it has power windows. The dash features a fresh pad
along with a custom instrument panel filled with Pro Comp gauges
and electric-slide Vintage Air controls. For modern convenience,
there's a Pioneer stereo with Sirius satellite capability. A
waterfall steering wheel sits on a tilt column, and the center
console has been tastefully updated with an overdrive shift
indicator and a removable center cushion with built in cup holders.
It's a great blend of classic muscle car style and modern
comfort.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: At the heart of this beast is a 496 stroker big
block built for serious performance. It starts with a 4-bolt main
block and features an Eagle rotating assembly, forged pistons, full
roller valvetrain, double roller timing chain, AFR aluminum heads,
an Edelbrock intake, and Holley Sniper EFI. Ignition duties are
handled by an MSD system, while Dynatech ceramic-coated 2-inch
headers help it breathe and sound incredible. The engine
compartment is every bit as impressive as the engine itself. A
polished billet front runner system includes a polished A/C
compressor, brackets, serpentine pulleys, alternator, and modern
power steering. Cooling is handled by a Be Cool aluminum radiator
with dual electric fans, an overflow bottle, and an aluminum water
pump to keep temperatures in check. It also features power brakes,
upgraded wiper motor, a smoothed firewall, custom filler panel,
billet aluminum hood hinges, and cast aluminum valve covers. The
entire compartment is as good looking as it is powerful.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and in the jamb, the finish
is glossy black, while the trunk itself is solid and fitted with a
full carpeted liner. The battery has been professionally relocated
to the trunk using premium cables, quality fittings, a billet
hold-down, and a master disconnect switch. As an added bonus, the
car also includes a soft car cover.
UNDERSIDE: The front suspension has been completely upgraded with a
Heidts system featuring tubular control arms, adjustable coilover
gas shocks, polyurethane bushings, and an AGR quick ratio steering
box. Additional performance upgrades include Competition
Engineering frame connectors, Detroit Speed 3-inch drop springs,
and Slide-A-Link traction bars in back. The brake system has been
upgraded with Baer drilled and slotted disc brakes at all four
wheels along with a custom e-brake setup. An Aeromotive fuel system
feeds the engine, while a custom 3-inch exhaust with an X-pipe,
Flowmaster mufflers, and electric cutouts delivers an aggressive
sound when desired. Looking up at the drivetrain, you'll find an
extra capacity oil pan, high-torque starter, and a performance
built Turbo 400 automatic equipped with a finned aluminum pan and
remote finned oil cooler. A rebuilt driveshaft transfers power to a
Moser 9-inch rear end with 3.70 Truetrac gears. The floors are
clean, dry, and exceptionally solid, finished with a neatly applied
semi-gloss black coating that gives the underside a clean
appearance.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every
vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected,
test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for
sale.
CONCLUSION: Whether you're cruising to a car show, carving up back
roads, or simply admiring it in your garage, this is the kind of
car that leaves a lasting impression.
