This 1956 Chevrolet 210 is a classic Tri-Five Chevrolet that
combines iconic styling with legendary small-block performance. A
true eye-catcher wherever it goes, this Chevrolet underwent its
restoration in 1977 and has been enjoyed as a dependable driver
ever since. Originally sourced from South Dakota, the car remains a
solid and attractive example that is ready to be driven and
enjoyed.
One of the most impressive aspects of this vehicle is its paint.
Applied during the restoration approximately 50 years ago, the
finish continues to present remarkably well today and remains a
testament to the quality of the work performed. It is rare to find
a half-century-old paint job that still shows this well.
Under the hood is a highly desirable 1968 MO-code 302 cubic-inch
small-block Chevrolet V8, the same engine designation associated
with the legendary Z/28 Camaro. Recently upgraded with a brand-new
top end, the engine runs strong and delivers impressive performance
while still returning an estimated 20 miles per gallon. The car
starts easily, runs great, and drives exceptionally well.
Additional recent maintenance includes a brand-new fuel tank, new
sending unit, and a new set of tires. All lights and gauges are
reported to be fully functional. Equipped with manual steering and
manual brakes, this Chevrolet delivers a classic driving experience
that enthusiasts appreciate.
While the vehicle does not currently have functioning heat or air
conditioning, all of the components for the heater system are
present and included, though not currently connected. The owner
states they would confidently drive this car cross-country without
hesitation, a testament to its reliability and drivability.
