This custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro was restored to look original in
appearance with the comfort of air conditioning and a modern
drivetrain. As the original VIN tag and trim tag indicate, this
example was built in Van Nuys, California, on the second week of
February as a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe with an eight-cylinder
engine. It was the recipient of a multi-year rotisserie
restoration. The straight body is outfitted with a cowl hood and
rear spoiler. It has excellent panel fitment and gap lines
throughout. It was refinished in the desirable color of LeMans
Blue. The quality paint was recently detailed to a brilliant shine.
Everything on the exterior was restored or replaced new, including
all the tinted glass throughout. It has a great stance on new
upgraded Rally-styled polished wheels that measure 17x8 on the
front and 17x9 on the rear. The staggered wheels are mounted to new
Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. The cabin space was completely
refinished with a black standard interior. Everything in the
interior was restored or replaced new. Some of the interior custom
features include an American Autowire updated wiring harness,
Vintage Air climate-control system, full console with Classic
Industries gauges, Custom Autosound stereo and new Camaro-embossed
black carpeted floor mats. The trunk completely was refinished in
Lemans Blue and dressed with a correct-style trunk mat. The nicely
detailed engine compartment was also refinished in LeMans Blue.
It's powered by a GM Performance LS2 6.0-liter V-8 aluminum engine
that was rated with 400hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. The engine was
dressed with custom valve covers and cold-air intake system. The
engine is cooled by a Northern aluminum radiator with dual SPAL
electric fans. The engine breathes through ceramic-coated headers
and a dual exhaust system with Dynamax mufflers. Some of the engine
compartment custom features include a new 8-inch black brake
booster, Wilwood black brake master cylinder, Optima Red Top
battery and black radiator show panel. The engine is coupled to a
4L60E automatic transmission with correct-style horseshoe shifter.
The power is transferred to the 12-bolt rear end. The nicely
detailed undercarriage was also refinished in LeMans Blue. The
power steering system, suspension components and braking system
were completely gone through. This vehicle has been completely
serviced and detailed, which is documented with an invoice that's
included with the sale. From the MS CLASSIC CARS Collection.
