This custom 1947 Ford Super Deluxe convertible is powered by a
350ci V-8 engine and a 200-4R four-speed automatic transmission.
Engine features include a Holley 600-cfm carburetor, Edelbrock
intake manifold, chrome valve covers, aluminum spark plug wire
separators, an open-element air cleaner, an aluminum radiator,
aluminum coolant overflow container and an aluminum battery box.
The drivetrain is equipped with an 8-inch Ford rear axle, a modern
fuel tank and power steering. Stopping power comes from power front
disc brakes and rear drums. The body is refinished in Spruce Green
with subtle pinstriping. Exterior modifications include shaved
mid-body fender trim, running board trim, rear rubber rock guards,
grille bars, hood ornament, emblem, trunk trim and taillight trim.
The front and rear bumpers have been color-matched, and the rear
bumper has been tucked and mounted below the trunk handle and
taillights. The mirrors have been relocated to the tops of the
doors, while the windshield trim and center divider have been
painted black. Additional exterior features include aftermarket
cowl-mounted windshield wipers, a shaved cowl vent and a black
canvas power convertible top. The interior features front bucket
seats and a full-width rear seat upholstered in Spruce Green
leather. The matching door panels include armrests, power window
controls and chrome handles. Spruce Green carpeting covers the
cabin floor and rubber floor mats are fitted in the front
footwells. The modified dashboard houses controls for the
headlights, windshield wipers, convertible top, Pioneer stereo/CD
player and Vintage Air climate system. A tilt steering column is
fitted with a polished four-spoke steering wheel wrapped in black
leather. Instrumentation includes white-faced VDO gauges with a
120-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature,
oil pressure and voltage. The car rides on polished five-spoke
American Racing wheels wrapped in low-profile tires.
