having begun life as an original 396 SS equipped with Cold working
factory air conditioning. A comprehensive restoration was completed
in 2015, with an emphasis on reliability, drivability, and
long-distance enjoyment. During the restoration, the original
big-block was replaced with a Gen I 327 'Fuelie' V8, chosen for its
dependable performance, ease of maintenance, and improved fuel
economy. The engine was converted from fuel injection to a
four-barrel carburetor setup, making tuning and servicing
straightforward. Power is delivered through a 200-4R overdrive
automatic transmission featuring a lock-up torque converter,
allowing comfortable highway cruising and impressive fuel
efficiency of over 20 mpg. Additional highlights include: Working
