280Z model for the North American market in the 1975 model year.
engine size was increased to 2.8 liters and a Bosch L-Jetronic fuel
inejction system was added. The 1977 and 1978 models received
bumpers with recessed channels added that blended into corrugated-
or accordion-style black rubber extension trim. Also new for the
1977 model year, 280Zs no longer received the full-size spare tire,
and instead had a "space saver" spare and a larger fuel tank. In
late 1976 and for most 197778 models, an optional five-speed manual
transmission was available alongside the four-speed manual and the
three-speed automatic options. It included a "5-speed" emblem on
the left bottom edge of the rear hatch. This 280z was sold
new by Annex Motors Inc of San Rafael, CA and has lived a very well
cared for life with all its collectors/owners, most recently in a
collection with several other 240/260/280ZX/300ZX cars.Very well
