Zoom Classic Cars presents this 1934 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Custom
Hot Rod Sedan. Few hot rods capture the timeless appeal of pre-war
American styling quite like a 1934 Chevrolet Master Deluxe.
Introduced during the depths of the Depression, the Master Deluxe
represented Chevrolet's premium passenger car offering and helped
solidify Chevrolet's position as America's best-selling automobile
manufacturer. With its distinctive grille, flowing fenders, and
elegant body lines, the 1934 Chevrolet remains one of the most
recognizable and sought-after platforms for custom street rod
builders.Offered here is a beautifully executed Master Deluxe
Custom Hot Rod that has been enjoyed by the same enthusiast owner
and active club member for the past 14 years. An upcoming
out-of-state move is forcing the sale of this well-sorted,
dependable cruiser. This all-steel (with exception of running
boards) Chevy presents an outstanding opportunity to own a unique
street rod at a very reasonable price considering the quality of
the build, equipment, and craftsmanship involved. The body is an
original all-steel car that has been professionally chopped four
inches to create an aggressive yet tasteful profile. The car
features custom suicide doors with shaved exterior handles that can
be opened manually from the inside or by remote-operated door
poppers. For additional security and convenience, a backup door
release switch is discreetly mounted beneath the floorboard. Power
comes from a rebuilt Chevrolet 350 cubic-inch V8 sourced from a
1973 Chevrolet and fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor. The engine
is cooled by electric fans supplied by Springfield Street Rod and
is paired with a dependable Turbo 350 automatic transmission. The
drivetrain combination provides excellent reliability, easy
maintenance, and plenty of power for comfortable highway cruising.
The chassis has been upgraded with a Mustang II independent front
suspension and a 1975 Ford Granada rear end, resulting in modern
handling characteristics and a comfortable ride. Additional
upgrades include a steering column and master cylinder from a 1980
Oldsmobile, power front disc brakes with rear drums, a Ron Francis
wiring system, and VDO instrumentation. High-intensity Sylvania
halogen headlights are wired directly to the battery for improved
nighttime visibility and safety. The exterior is finished in an
attractive light blue polyurethane enamel paint accented by
tasteful pinstriping. The paint remains in overall very good
condition with some minor imperfections as shown and the body shows
no evidence of rust while a custom front bra and third brake light
add both protection and safety. Inside, the car features a
surprisingly spacious and comfortable custom interior trimmed in
Chevrolet cloth upholstery from a 1988 model vehicle. The matching
cloth material extends throughout the cabin, including the
headliner. Front passengers enjoy comfortable Fiero bucket seats
while rear occupants benefit from a roomy bench seat. Additional
interior features include: Vintage Air conditioning system
(currently needs recharge, Specialty Power Windows, Custom
stainless-steel dashboard and glove box door, Tilt Grant GT
steering wheel, VDO gauges, JVC AM/FM/CD stereo system with four
speakers, Yada backup camera with dash-mounted display. The
undercarriage is clean and well-maintained, featuring a Mad Hatter
stainless-steel exhaust system that exits at the rear through
polished 2-inch chrome tips, producing a great V8 sound without
being overwhelming. The car rides on new BFGoodrich Radial T/A
tires, sized 205/70R14 up front and 215/70R15 in the rear, mounted
on custom chrome 5-lug Cragar wheels that remain in excellent
condition and perfectly complement the car's traditional hot rod
appearance. This Chevy starts easily, runs strong, shifts smoothly,
and handles very well. Whether you're looking for a dependable
cruise night car, weekend show participant, club tour vehicle, or
simply a unique classic that stands apart from the crowd, this
Master Deluxe checks all the boxes. Car is stored in MA and comes
with clean Title in the owner's name along with a number of
miscellaneous parts. This is an opportunity to purchase a
well-built, proven, and affordable street rod that would cost
substantially more to duplicate today. No reasonable offer will be
refused. For additional information or to schedule a viewing,
