1 owner since 1966! Still retains the 1966 title! Both hard and
soft tops! Frame off in 2023 with receipts and photos.
This beautiful 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible in it's original
Silver Blue paint with correct STD code black interior. The engine
was replaced with a rebuilt 350 from Midwest Engine Tech, with
receipts in the photos. It is mildly built and runs fantastic! That
is backed by a 4-speed manual with Hurst shifter.
With a hardtop, and a soft top, this Vette is ready for any
situation. The American Racing Torque Thrust wheels with radial
tires give it a bit of a modern flair to match the fender flares
that were done in the 1960s! The rear end is upgraded over stock
and makes this Mid Year Vette drive like a dream. No frills here,
just horsepower, a manual transmission to grab gears, and an
upgraded rear end to put the power down! Get in and go!
It was taken off the frame, the frame was cleaned and powder
coated, a new rear end installed, along with the new engine and the
4-speed transmission. The brakes were rebuilt as well and the body
was reinstalled. It received new upholstery and a new convertible
top. Other new parts include the headlight motors, tires, wheels,
and more!
This Corvette sat in the owner's garage from 1975 to 2023 not being
driven, until a neighbor pushed him to resurrect it and enjoy it
before it was too late. He agreed and the task of getting this
Corvette back on the road was started! Today, it is a good driver,
with a fantastic look, and a great documented history. Any Corvette
enthusiast would be thrilled to have this 64 Stingray in their
garage!
