The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG launched the era of modern Mercedes-Benz super cars as the first model developed exclusively by Mercedes-Benz in-house tuner AMG. The GT version introduced in 2013 would continue to be sold through 2014, including a mid-cycle refresh dubbed the GT, which increased output to 583 horsepowerup 20 horsepower from the initial launchalong with revised gear ratios for an even more engaging driving experience.
