This 1974 Ford F-250 Supercab Ranger is a 2WD Short Bed truck that
spent its life in Wyoming. This is a hard truck to find in this
configuration and also being a solid survivor truck. The body is
clean and straight, especially for being a survivor truck. The Ivy
Glow appears to be all original and polished up great showing some
cool patina here and there. It still has its original pin striping.
This truck has the Ranger trim and still has its original upper and
lower moldings that are still in great condition. The rest of the
trim is also original and in nice shape. The underside is all
original and solid. We found no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is all stock in appearance with the bench seat being
professionally recovered at some point and it also has a newer
headliner and dash cover. The door panels, dash bezel, and floor
mat are all original and nice (The floor mat does show some wear
and a couple of cracks. The headlights, taillights, brakelights,
and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. The horn,
heat, and windshield wipers work. It has an aftermarket stereo that
is working as well.
Mechanically this truck is excellent. It starts easily and runs and
drives great. The truck originally came with a 360 V8, but the last
owner said he installed a rebuilt 390 V8 at some point. We do not
have the exact date or mileage when that was completed. They added
an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley 4 Barrel carb, dual exhaust,
electronic ignition, new radiator, and new starter. The engine runs
strong with no issues or red flags that we found. The transmission
is the C6 Automatic that shifts great. The rear axle is a Dana 60
with 3.73 gears. This is all sitting on a nice set of chrome wheels
with Toyo Open Country All terrain tires size 235/85/16.
We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures
are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate
representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show
you everything so you can get a true representation of the
vehicle.
