The Chevrolet El Camino hybrid sedan/pick-up took styling cues from
the mid-sized Malibu. This 1985 El Camino has received a partial
restoration and is a nice custom example of this unique Chevy.
305ci Small-Block with 4-speed Turbo Hydramatic-
Power is provided by a 305ci V8 that is said to have never required
a rebuild. This motor is factory rated at 145 HP and 240lb/ft of
torque. It is equipped with a 4-barrel and an aluminum radiator
with dual electric fans. The small-block is backed by a GM 4-speed
Turbo Hydramatic transmission and 10-bolt differential. Equipped
with power steering and power front discs and rear drum brakes. The
coil spring suspension front and rear air suspension provide the
lowered stance.
2-Tone Silver/Gray Finish with Ghost Flames-
The Silver/Gray Metallic exterior features painted ghost flames and
a custom painted "laces-style" roof. Other features include; front
air dam, bed rails, sprayed bed liner and Vision Legend alloy spoke
wheels. The original burgundy cloth interior has a full bench seat,
power tinted windows, cruise control, tilt wheel, factory gauges
and AM/FM/CD sound system.
This custom El Camino is going to be a great addition to turn heads
at the local cruise-in.
