Previous owner inherited this 280SL from his father who purchased

and drives flawlessly. No rust - now or ever.
The 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SL is the final and most refined year of
the iconic W113 "Pagoda" series. Blending sports car performance
with luxurious grand touring comfort, it features a timeless
slab-sided design, a powerful 2.8-liter inline-6 engine, and a
distinctive concave removable hardtop
The 1971 model marks the culmination of the W113 generation before
it was replaced by the V8-powered R107. It remains an
internationally coveted collector's car, highly prized for its
reliable drivability, ease of ownership, and unmistakable
mid-century aesthetic.

am working to get the title updated to remove the NC issued VIN and
replace it with the correct VIN.
