This 1979 International Harvester Scout II Traveltop is powered by
a rebuilt 345ci V-8 engine equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor
and backed by a rebuilt four-speed manual transmission. The
drivetrain includes a dual-range transfer case and locking front
hubs. Chassis features include Rancho shocks and power steering. It
rides on 15-inch eight-spoke wheels. The body and frame were
refreshed and repainted in two-tone gray and cream during a
multi-year refurbishment completed in 2018. Exterior features
include the removable Traveltop hardtop and a receiver hitch. The
interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench re-covered in
gray cloth and vinyl, a custom mural headliner, a roll bar, an
AM/FM radio and air conditioning. The multi-year refurbishment was
completed in 2018.
