INTRODUCTION: With only 3,400 miles since completion, this American
icon has been thoughtfully brought into the modern era. The moment
you see it in person, the level of craftsmanship and attention to
detail is obvious. Not only is this going to do well at every show,
but it's also a very spirited fun car to drive!
EXTERIOR: This is one sharp looking Mustang that's sure to stand
out from the crowd. The body is exceptionally clean, rust free, and
laser straight. It's finished in a beautiful bright white paint
that is polished to a smooth, glossy finish. The black painted
stripes running over the top and down the sides are smooth to the
touch, and even the door jambs are slick and glossy. The doors open
and close effortlessly! It has been upgraded with a fiberglass
Shelby style hood and lower front valance air dam, giving it a more
aggressive appearance. The Shelby style grille features integrated
fog lamps, while racing pins and dual deluxe mirrors add to the
sporty look. The chrome and trim appear to have been replaced
throughout, including the vent window frames, stainless moldings,
bumpers, taillight bezels, and other brightwork. The windshield
looks new, and the weatherstrips and seals have been replaced as
well. The black convertible top was replaced and the taillights
were upgraded with sequential LEDs. The stance is just right,
sitting on 17-inch American Racing Special Edition Shelby wheels
wrapped in performance tires, giving this Mustang the perfect blend
of classic styling and modern attitude.
INTERIOR: Sitting in this Mustang feels comfortable and sporty at
the same time. The interior features Pony Deluxe style seats with
added bolsters and headrests, complemented by matching two tone
door panels. The dash area has been restored with a new dash pad
and instrument bezels, then upgraded with a full set of Sport-Comp
gauges, including a mini tachometer mounted on the steering column.
In front of the driver is a beautiful wood rimmed custom steering
wheel that adds to the classic performance feel. The Mustang
RetroSound stereo fits neatly in the factory location, and the
music is played through kick panel speakers. Down on the floor is
fresh carpet with embroidered floor mats, billet pedals, and a
comfortable armrest center console. The best part is the billet
5-speed shifter rising from the floor, reminding you this Mustang
was built to be driven. It also features seat belts for everyone,
including upgraded 3 point retractable belts in front.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is one spunky, performance built 302 that
delivers plenty of excitement every time you turn the key. It's
equipped with a hotter camshaft and topped with an Edelbrock
Performer RPM intake manifold featuring a fuel injection throttle
body and custom cold air intake system. The engine is further
enhanced with electronic ignition and a set of Hedman headers that
help it breathe freely. Adding to the appearance are a set of Ford
Racing valve covers that give the small block a proper performance
look. The front of the engine has been upgraded with a Tough Stuff
alternator, power steering, and a serpentine belt drive. Cooling is
handled by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, ensuring
it stays cool. It also features power brakes for confident stopping
power. The engine bay itself is exceptionally nice with custom
inner fenders and is painted white, creating a crisp backdrop for
the upgraded drivetrain. A set of custom hood hinges adds a
finishing touch.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside is finished as nicely as the rest of the
car. The bright Arctic White paint continues under the deck lid,
throughout the jambs, and inside the trunk compartment for a clean,
finished appearance. It features a custom carpeted trunk floor,
while a set of billet trunk hinges with gas struts adds both style
and functionality. The battery has also been relocated to the
trunk, helping clean up the engine compartment while improving
weight distribution.
UNDERSIDE: It has been restored and upgraded to greatly improve the
handling. Up front it features a new suspension system with tubular
control arms, coilover shocks, a swaybar, and rack and pinion
steering. Welded in frame connectors run front to back to help
prevent body twist, and the rear has tubular traction bars with
upgraded gas shocks. The exhaust system features stainless pipes, a
crossover, and Dynomax mufflers. The fuel system was replaced and
upgraded to support the fuel-injected engine. The brake system was
rebuilt with front discs, and the e-brake assembly is working
properly. Looking up at the motor, it has a chrome oil pan and a
high torque starter with heat shielding. It's paired with a T5
5-speed transmission and hydraulic clutch. An aluminum driveshaft
connects to the 9-inch rear end. The floors and frame rails are
beautiful, clean metal, all neatly painted for a sharp
presentation.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and our reputation. Every
vehicle goes through our service department where it is inspected,
test driven, and we address the essentials before offering it for
sale.
CONCLUSION: You're going to have a blast driving this one! Drop the
top, grab a gear, and listen to the rumble of that exhaust as you
head down the road. It's the kind of car that turns every drive
into an event and puts a smile on your face every time you're
behind the wheel. You'll want to drive it as much as you'll want to
show it off. All of life's daily stresses will seem to melt away.
That's what makes owning a great classic car so special, and this
one delivers that experience in a big way!
