Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox. Exhaust exits through a four-into-one header flowing into a stainless-steel side-exit exhaust system that sounds every bit as exciting as the car feels to drive.
A major service was completed on November 28, 2025, in preparation for sale. In fact, the car performed so well following the work that the owner postponed the sale for several months to enjoy additional time behind the wheel. Service items included replacement of the head gasket, inlet gasket, exhaust gasket, thermostat gasket, valve stem seals, exhaust valves, pushrod, valve spring set, steering rack boots, tie-rod end boots, heater hoses, fuel hose, coolant, and more. The Weber carburetors were completely rebuilt using a full gasket kit and new soft mounts. Following the rebuild, the car was road-tested extensively, with jetting adjusted as needed to ensure optimal performance. A compression test was also performed to verify the engine's excellent condition.
