This custom 1972 International Scout II was built by Gotham Garage
for the television show "Car Masters." Originally a factory hardtop
model, it was transformed into an off-road build featuring a 345ci
V-8 engine, an automatic transmission and four-wheel-drive. The
suspension system was replaced with a custom Baja-style off-road
setup featuring a three-link front suspension, four-link rear
suspension and Fox shocks. Finished in orange, the build rides on
37-inch tires and includes exposed front suspension upper mounts
connected by custom-fabricated bracing. Additional exterior
modifications include a split-opening hood, custom front and rear
bumpers, multiple light bars and a 13,500-pound power winch with
remote control. The custom roll cage extends through the interior
behind the rear seating area.
