Intro
1973 BMW 2002tii painted in Polaris Silver over black leatherette interior with mechanical sunroof. The modifications include a Getrag 245 5-speed manual transmission, new out of the box engine from Germany installed in 1999 by BMW, Marchal headlights, Clarion stereo with three amps and subwoofer infiniti, Nakamichi and Bose speakers, Recaro front seats, rear seats converted to 635 bucket seats, new door panels with chrome trim, new exhaust, Panasport wheels and refurbished alternator. The tires have less than 1000 miles on them. Seller states this 2002tii has zero rust, a clear title and is in California.
Exterior
The exterior was repainted Polaris Silver in 2002. It has a mechanical sunroof, Bilstein shocks, Panasport light alloy wheels wrapped in Continental 185/55 R15 tires driven less than 1,000 miles. It was upgraded to front disc brakes, Marchal headlights, new aftermarket exhaust (headers back) and upgraded 1974 gas tank with additional 2-gallon capacity. It has new window seals on rear windows, airhorn and chrome trim.
Interior
The interior is upholstered in black leatherette with Recaro sport seats in the front and rear seats converted to 635 bucket seats. All the gauges work, the clock was converted to digital, upgraded sound system with Clarion stereo with three amps and subwoofer, Bose and Nakamichi speakers. The seller had the door panels changed, the old ones were perfect but didn't have the chrome trim. The seller states there are no cracks in the dash. This is a non-AC car. It has an Epoca steering wheel and seller will swap out for a Momo steering wheel if preferred.
Mechanicals
The engine was replaced by BMW with a new factory 2.0-liter M10 inline-four with Kuglefischer mechanical fuel injection system. The factory spec was 130 horsepower. It is mated to a Getrag 245 5-speed manual transmission and has been meticulously maintained by Phaedrus of San Francisco and A1 imports of San Rafael. The battery is two years old and alternator is new. It comes with a documented full-service history.

This is a mint condition, turnkey car with extensive records from 1973 to present. It has a brand new out of the box engine from Germany installed in 1999 by BMW, Marchal headlights, bucket front and rear seats, incredible sound system, sunroof, no AC, 5 speed, and upgraded brakes. It is a solid car 5 owner car with no leaks whatsoever, previously owned by BMW CCA past club president and members. Please note there was some dust on the car when the photos were taken.
