1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 454 CALIFORNIA CAR, COWL INDUCTION,
FRAME OFF RESTORED This is one of the most sought after muscle
cars! This 1970 Chevelle is wearing its original color, Fathom Blue
code 28 with a Black vinyl top. It has Black SS stripes running
down the functional Cowl Induction hood and trunk! The body is
clean and straight. All lines and gaps fit nicely. Looking down
both sides it is laser straight. It appears to have all factory
sheet metal. Doors close like they did when they were new. The
paint has a nice smooth and glossy finish. The front grill, emblem,
headlight bezels and front bumper look great. The stainless trim is
polished and straight. The rear bumper, SS pad and tail light
lenses are very nice. The tinted glass is like new. It sits on a
set of 15" factory style chrome SS wheels and BFG T/A raised white
letter radial tires, 15x7 with 225/70/15 in the front and15x8 in
the rear with 275/60/15 for that aggressive look it deserves. The
black interior is new from carpet to headliner. It sports bucket
seats and a console with a Horse Shoe style shifter sticking out of
it. It features a three spoke Sure Grip SS steering wheel on a tilt
steering column. The dash is in great condition featuring factory
tach and gauges which all work; it also has aftermarket gauges
mounted neatly under the dash. The heater controls all operate
smoothly. It has a retro AM/FM radio. The dash pad is in good shape
with no cracks. The carpet, sill plates and door panels are all in
nice shape as well. It also features GM front and rear seat belts.
The engine compartment is clean and complete with a 454 ci, 4 Bolt
Main engine that has been completely rebuilt and runs strong! It
also has Chevrolet chrome valve covers, chrome air cleaner, a 4
core radiator, correct fan shroud and fan. Everything is nice and
tidy. The trunk is super clean. It appears to be all original
metal. The trunk pan has been resprayed in its original color of
spatter paint. It also has a spare tire and jack assembly. The
undercarriage is as clean as the top side! The bottom of the engine
is clean and the Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission is clean
as well. The original floors are clean metal and finished in a
gloss black. There is a F-41 suspension which includes sway bars
and boxed in control arms. Other features include power steering
and power front disc brakes. It has a 2.5" stainless steel dual
exhaust system with a set of Flowmaster mufflers and factory style
cowbell tips running out the back. It has a newer fuel tank with
new straps and sending unit. All new stainless fuel lines and brake
lines. It also features a 12-bolt Posi rear end with 3:31gears. The
frame has been Powder Coated along with core support. The 1970
Chevelle SS is the most popular and most sought after car of its
