From the final year of the front-engine Corvette design, this 2019
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 convertible is powered by a supercharged and
intercooled 6.2-liter LT5 V-8 engine producing 755hp and 715 lb-ft
of torque, paired with an eight-speed paddle-shift automatic
transmission and electronic limited-slip differential driving the
rear wheels. Engine features include a 95mm throttle body, dry-sump
lubrication, fuel injection with both direct and port fuel
delivery, and a rear differential cooler. The ZTK Track Performance
Package adds stiffer springs and performance tuning for the
Magnetic Ride Control suspension. Stopping is provided by
cross-drilled carbon-ceramic disc brakes with yellow-finished
Brembo calipers at all four corners. The car rides on Carbon Flash
19-inch front and 20-inch rear 10-spoke wheels mounted with
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Finished in Corvette Racing
Yellow tintcoat, this ZR1 is one of 16 convertibles produced in
this color for the model year. The exterior features a black
soft-top, clear-coated carbon-fiber front splitter, carbon-fiber
rocker-panel extensions, vented carbon-fiber hood, exposed
carbon-fiber cooling vent surrounds and engine cover, xenon
headlights, heated power-adjustable mirrors and a multi-mode
exhaust system with quad outlets. The ZTK Track Performance Package
also adds front splitter end caps and an adjustable high rear wing.
The Jet Black leather interior is equipped with heated and
ventilated Competition Sport seats, featuring yellow stitching,
perforated microfiber inserts and carbon-fiber harness
pass-throughs. High-gloss carbon-fiber trim accents the cockpit.
Factory-equipped with the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, additional
features include dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless
ignition, front curb-view cameras, performance data and video
recorder, Bose surround-sound system, touchscreen infotainment with
navigation and smartphone connectivity. The carbon-fiber- and
microsuede-trimmed flat-bottom steering wheel features yellow
stitching and paddle shifters. A head-up display projects vehicle
information onto the windshield. It was originally delivered new to
Buff Whelan Chevrolet in Sterling Heights, Michigan. 2,493 actual
miles.
