This custom 1969 Dodge Charger SE received an extensive three-year
rotisserie restoration and was built to Pro-Touring specifications
to re-create the blown Dodge Charger used in the film "The Fast and
the Furious." It is powered by a supercharged 440ci V-8 engine
bored .030 over and equipped with a 6-71 supercharger, Quick Fuel
blower carburetors, forged Sealed Power pistons, Pro Comp aluminum
heads, Cometic MLS gaskets, a Comp Cams 274XE hydraulic camshaft
and lifters, a Melling high-volume oil pump and an SFI harmonic
balancer. The engine is balanced and blueprinted and paired with a
high-performance 727 automatic transmission and a Dana 60 rear end
with 3.54 Positraction. A full 3-inch dual exhaust system with
Doug's headers complements the powertrain. The chassis features
Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes, Borgeson quick-ratio steering
and frame connectors for added rigidity. A custom cooling system
operates at approximately 185 degrees. Finished in Dodge TX9 Black,
exterior features include a custom retrofit hood with Ringbrothers
custom hinges and a custom supercharged emblem. The custom interior
features a center console, a custom pistol-grip B&M Black
shifter, Vintage Air climate control, Dakota Digital gauges and a
Painless wiring system. Additional items included with the vehicle
are its show display, a neon "Fast & Furious" Charger sign and a
movie poster print signed by cast members. Documentation includes
the original fender tag and VIN tag with original rosette rivets.
