Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to present this
2005 Ford Mustang GT coupe, modified by Bonspeed of Anaheim,
California, showcases a unique blend of performance and style. The
car rides on polished 20-inch Bonspeed wheels wrapped in Hankook
Ventus V12 evo2 tires, with 255/35 tires in the front and 285/30
tires in the rear. The suspension features aftermarket performance
shock absorbers, while stopping power is provided by Baer front
brake calipers and two-piece cross-drilled and slotted rotors at
all four corners. The exterior is finished in Black (UA) and
features custom body panels, hand-painted pinstriping, and "Black
Pearl" hood graphics. Additional exterior details include hood
pins, a rear spoiler, fog lights, and dual exhaust outlets. Inside,
the cabin is equipped with power-adjustable Recaro front seats
trimmed in red leather, with matching red accents extending to the
shifter boot, rear seat, and door panels. A Hurst shift knob
complements the sporty interior, while a Kenwood head unit, a Sony
rear-seat entertainment screen, and a custom audio system enhance
the driving experience. The multifunction leather-wrapped steering
wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and
auxiliary gauges. Air conditioning is included for added comfort.
The trunk houses a custom enclosure featuring an Optima battery, a
Diamond Audio Technology amplifier, four crossovers, and a 5-farad
Tsunami capacitor, underscoring the attention to detail in the
audio setup. Under the hood, the 4.6-liter V8 engine benefits from
a Vortech V-2 centrifugal supercharger and a Maxflow Power Cooler
aftercooler system, delivering power to the rear wheels through the
five-speed manual transmission. This Mustang GT, known as the
"Black Rose Concept," represents a thoughtfully executed build that
combines performance upgrades with custom styling and modern
amenities.
