This frame-off-restored 1971 Chevrolet K10 custom short-bed pickup
is powered by a rebuilt 383ci stroker V-8 engine producing an
estimated 420-450hp backed by a rebuilt Turbo 350 automatic
transmission upgraded with Hughes Racing sprag, drum and center
support components. The engine features Edelbrock RPM aluminum
heads, 9.5:1 compression, aluminum roller rockers and an Edelbrock
gear drive. The rebuilt drivetrain includes front and rear
differentials with 4.88 gears, a Truetrac limited-slip differential
up front and a Detroit Locker rear differential. It rides on a BDS
suspension system. The body and bed were removed from the frame
during the frame-off restoration. Finished in show-quality paint,
this original factory short-bed pickup retains its original SPID
tag. Exterior features include four-wheel-drive capability and
factory styling details. The interior is equipped with factory air
conditioning and an in-dash tachometer.
