This 1968 Ford Mustang Eleanor replica started life as an original
factory S-code 390 big-block Mustang and is now powered by a Ford
Performance supercharged 5.2-liter Predator V-8 engine paired with
a 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission, featuring a push-button
gear selector driving the rear wheels. This is the same engine that
powers the 2020-22 Mustang Shelby GT500 and is rated at 760hp and
625 lb-ft of torque. It is equipped with long-tube headers feeding
a dual H-pipe side-exit exhaust system with MTF mufflers. The
chassis features a Mustangs to Fear IFS kit with front crossmember,
coilover suspension, tubular control arms and power rack-and-pinion
steering. The rear suspension is a triangulated four-link setup
with coilovers. Stopping is handled by four-wheel Wilwood disc
brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder and cross-drilled and slotted
rotors. Additional mechanical features include a Champion radiator
with electric fan, billet hood hinges, stainless fuel tank and
trunk-mounted battery. The exterior is finished in black with Satin
Black stripes and features Eleanor-style body components, including
molded wheel flares, decklid spoiler, upper and lower side scoops,
fiberglass power-bulge hood, lower rocker panels with integrated
side-exit exhaust, dual custom grilles, multiple driving lights and
custom hood pins. The custom interior features black leather
upholstery with honeycomb red-stitched leather seating, along with
air conditioning, modern gauges, a three-spoke steering wheel on a
tilt column, custom center console with cup holders and a
carbon-fiber-style dashboard. This Eleanor rides on 18-inch
American Racing Shelby 10-spoke wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1
tires (235/40 front and 265/40 rear). The build was completed in
December 2025.
