This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible underwent a nut-and-bolt
restoration and is powered by an era-correct 265ci V-8 engine
paired with a three-on-the-tree manual transmission with overdrive.
The engine compartment retains period-correct accessories, and the
mechanical systems were restored to factory specifications. The
exterior was refinished in its original factory color combination
and features all-new glass and rechromed brightwork. Additional
exterior details include correct wheel styling, whitewall tires and
a power-operated convertible top. The undercarriage features red
oxide undercoating with a blasted and painted frame. Every system
and component was addressed during the restoration, including the
chassis and engine bay.
