This custom 1957 Chevrolet Nomad is powered by an upgraded LT1 C4
Corvette 350ci V-8 engine paired with a six-speed manual
transmission and hydraulic clutch. It features a boxed and modified
frame, custom-balanced aluminum driveshaft, stainless-steel custom
fuel tank and stainless-steel exhaust. The chassis is equipped with
a C4 front end, rear suspension, four-wheel disc brakes and sway
bars. A passenger-side rear cargo battery relocation has also been
completed. The exterior is finished in Sage Pearl
basecoat/clearcoat. Urethane color-matched Line-X was applied while
the body was on the rotisserie. Additional exterior features
include laminated tinted windows. The interior is trimmed in Saddle
Tan leather and fitted with Lexus SC400 power front and rear seats,
along with wool Euro carpet throughout. Interior equipment includes
a Vintage Air Super Gen 2 climate-control system, power windows,
Classic Instruments gauges, Ididit tilt steering column, custom
console with lift-out panels for access, rear wiring routed through
the console with no exposed wiring underneath, hinged pivot dash
center access and three-point seat belts. Dynamat insulation was
installed throughout.
